This device also converts a PAL signal like say from SKY or Virgin or Freeview or games consoles to NTSC 3.58 via the PC input on your TV. You can choose the output resolution which should not exceed the actual limits of the resolution on your TV set. Most NTSC PC compatible TV's will work with 1024 x 768 pixel resolution 60hz or monitors which will give you a stunning picture.
The package includes all the leads that you will need to connect both audio and video to the system. It has a remote which will give access to contrast, saturation, sharpness settings and a few minutes, experimenting with these settings will reap great rewards. Once you have found a setting you like, you will not have to set it again.
For an NTSC TV the frequency must be set to 60 HZ and this is the default setting.
It's simple to set up and once set up never has to be set up again.

Not every display has a component (YUV/YPbPr)
input, or a sufficient number of such inputs. Some screens have a VGA PC
input, but lack the ability to accept progressive component video. The
Component (YUV) to RGB/VGA provides an effective solution.
Where a screen doesn't allow for progressive component video input, this can be converted to VGA for use with the PC input. Screens such as Plasmas , projectors, and LCDs can benefit. Simply connect the converter between source and display to enable viewing of progressive video, without sacrificing picture quality.
For a standard component video, interlaced not progressive, the SCART output is ideally suited for connection to a display. Using high quality RGB SCART input, the screen can be adapted to accept component video.
The conversion process uses high quality discrete components to ensure that picture detail is preserved. Computer controlled Anti-Sag technology ensures that the picture is stable for both progressive and non-progressive inputs.
