Although this has many uses, a CCD camera or camcorder can be used in the sub-picture, so you can watch TV and keep an eye on things too.

PICTURE IN PICTURE GENERATOR

Just plug your satellite receiver, VCR and TV into the three sets of phono (1 x Video 2 X Audio) sockets on the back of the CIP and you’ve got instant picture in picture! Now you can watch two channels at the same time - great for keeping an eye on what’s on the other side, monitoring sports events, or for surfing channels. You can swap the sub-picture for the main picture by pressing the SWAP button on the front control panel of the CIP. The CIP is ideal for watching a terrestrial TV channel, video or satellite channel simultaneously. To view two satellite channels or two terrestrial channels at the same time you will need either two satellite receivers or two sources for terrestrial TV broadcasts (either two VCR's or a VCR and an OnDigital TV receiver or the Lektropacks Telly Tuner). Recordings remain unaffected and there are no cables to swap.

The CIP is also ideal for security camera monitoring.
